The Lamb covers the house. In Egypt the blood marked the door; in the New Covenant the blood of Messiah marks the people. Passover is not nostalgia — it is the night the LORD distinguishes those who obey His instruction from those who do not.
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Unleavened Bread
The fifteenth of Abib, seven days
Leaven is the old life rising again. Seven days of unleavened bread train the house to live without the fermentation of malice, hypocrisy, and lawlessness. The Greater One Church keeps a solemn week of bitter herbs and unleavened bread as a fast of sincerity and truth.
And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

03 · Yom HaBikkurim
A wave offering before the Father
Firstfruits
The morrow after the Sabbath, 8 days after the resurrection.
Firstfruits is not the morrow after the Sabbath in Unleavened Bread. It is the morrow of the Sabbath after the barley harvest — after the feast of Unleavened Bread. Messiah rose as the firstfruit of them that slept; eight days later He is presented before the Father as a wave offering, just as a son born is circumcised on the eighth day. The wave sheaf is that presenting: the harvest accepted because He is accepted.
When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

Feast of Weeks
Seven Sabbaths from Firstfruits, fifty days
The law was given, and the Spirit was poured out, on this appointed time. Word and Spirit are not rivals. The same God who spoke from Sinai writes the words on the heart. Weeks is the feast of a people who both hear and do.
And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

A sabbath of memorial of blowing
Day of Trumpets
The first day of the seventh month, Ethanim
The alarm of the King. Trumpets call the remnant to wake, assemble, and remember that history is on a script with appointed times. The wise who know their God will understand.
In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

A sabbath of sabbaths — afflict your souls
Day of Atonement
The tenth day of the seventh month
The holiest fast. Under the New Covenant we do not bring goats — we come by the blood of the Lamb. Still the day remains: humble the soul, confess, and be clean. Grace is not permission to skip the affliction of the tenth day.
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

07 · Sukkot
Seven days plus the Last Great Day
Feast of Tabernacles
The fifteenth day of the seventh month, seven days, and the eighth day
Joy after atonement. We remember that we are still sojourners, and that God tabernacles with His people. The harvest is gathered, the King is among us, and the nations will one day keep this feast.
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
