Feast of Tabernacles — Day 3

Tuesday, September 14/15 | The 17th Day of the Seventh Month

Beloved Greater One Church,

and all who labor in Oneness with the Greater One,

We are now in the heart of the Feast. Day 3 is where many grow casual. Do not. The middle of Tabernacles is still holy time. The Lord is still tabernacling with His people, and He is still calling us to remain.

Our anchor has not changed.

Yet now be strong… for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: according to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

Haggai 2:4-5 · KJV

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former… and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

The instruction is still: be strong according to the word covenanted immediately after Egypt. The promise is still: greater glory and peace in this place of stillness on the seventh day. The way into that promise remains the same: alignment with His Word, and stillness in holy convocation with His Spirit on the seventh day (Exodus 16:28-30; Psalm 4:4).

Day 3 is a day to dwell — not to drift. The Feast of Tabernacles was given so Israel would remember that they lived in booths when the Lord brought them out of Egypt, we continue to keep it in remembrance that His Spirit now lives in us as His tabernacle (Leviticus 23:42-43). He was their covering then. He is our covering now. We are His temple and His tabernacle. The more we stay aligned with His truth, the more His glory shines through us (John 17:21-23).

Oneness with Him is not a feeling that visits on Day 1 and fades by Day 3. It is made real when we delightfully practice the Word as it is written. A loving relationship with God is built on obedience. A toxic one is built on disobedience and rebellion (2 Corinthians 4:15; John 4:23-24).

Keep rejoicing. This is still a feast.

And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast… because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

Eat. Drink. Share. Include those within your gates who have little. Let gladness and holiness walk together. Do not turn the Feast into empty noise, and do not turn it into a burden. Celebrate with a clean heart and an obedient life.

When frustration and temptation come — as they came to Yahusha — answer with a life conformed to the instructions of the Creator as it is written. Prayer without obedience will not prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Isaiah 58:1-5, 13-14).

Beloved, be strong today according to the instructions of the Greater One, so His Spirit remains among you; not the spirit of Fear. Stay in the Feast. Stay in the Word. Stay in His way.

The glory of the latter house is greater. The Feast of Tabernacles must continue.
