Feast of Tabernacles — Day 2

Monday, September 13/14 | The 16th Day of the Seventh Month

Beloved Greater One Church,

and all who labor in Oneness with the Greater One,

The Feast continues. Day 2 is not a lesser day. It is another appointed day to dwell, to rejoice, and to stay aligned.

Our anchor remains Haggai 2. The instruction is verses 4–5. The promise is verse 9.

Yet now be strong… saith the LORD… for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: according to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

The promise of greater glory is not unlocked by intensity of feeling alone. It is unlocked by stillness in holy convocation with the Spirit of Creation on the seventh day (Haggai 2:4-5, 9; Exodus 16:28-30; Psalm 4:4). “Abide ye every man in his place.” “Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.”

From that stillness the Word runs on:

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

That glory is given for Oneness — “the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:22). And that grace multiplies thanksgiving: “For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 4:15).

When the enemy comes, as he came to Yahusha (Jesus), with problems and frustration, do not answer only with louder prayer. Answer with a character and a life conformed to the instructions of the Creator as it is written. No matter how much or how intensely you pray, if you are not following the instructions as they are written, you will not prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Isaiah 58:1-5, 13-14). The fast He has chosen, and the Sabbath He has blessed, are not decorations. They are the path by which the promise becomes visible.

Keep the Feast with joy. The Lord did not appoint Tabernacles as a week of heaviness.

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God… because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

Deuteronomy 16:13-15 · KJV

Eat. Drink. Share. Include the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. Rejoice because He has blessed the work of your hands — and because He is tabernacling with you.

And the Feast of Tabernacles must continue. This is not a fading shadow to be discarded. It is written that the nations themselves will be required to come up and keep it:

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem, shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:16 · KJV

Those who refuse it meet drought and plague in that day (Zechariah 14:17-19). But those who come find a world marked “Holiness unto the Lord” (Zechariah 14:20-21). If the nations will one day keep this Feast before the King, how much more should those working in Oneness with the Greater One keep it now — with understanding, obedience, and joy?

Beloved, Day 2 is a call to remain. Be strong. Fear not. His Spirit remains among you.

Stay aligned. Keep the seventh-day stillness when it comes. Practice the Word as it is written. Rejoice in the Feast. Let His glory fill the latter house — and shine through a people who will not only find Him, but stay with Him.

The Feast of Tabernacles must continue. So must our obedience.
